A retreat permits us space to be free from our usual activities & gives us time to go more deeply into our practice.

It is a time for renewal & reflection; an opportunity for insights that can come from relaxing thoroughly in both body & mind.

During the weekends we will explore postures, breathing, relaxation & meditation. The emphasis will usually be on cultivating awareness & mindfulness.

Yoga: A Mindful Practice Weekends

The Spring 2010 retreat was a success, the pictures above are of Duncton Mill, in the South Downs, where the some of the previous Mindful Practice retreats have taken place.

There is a weekend for the forthcoming Mindful Practice Yoga Foundation Course Group in June 2010 in Chigwell, Essex.

This group has very kindly agreed to invite anyone who has completed a Foundation Course (or who has a strong yoga background) to join them. The theme this time around will be:

Quiet Mind.

Weekend retreats usually begin on the Friday. Arrival anytime after five - & conclude on the Sunday after lunch.
