Relaxing
into Stillness
We
will explore a way of working where asana isnt a means to
stretch but an aid to opening up and becoming aware; aware of
sensation, of our breathing, of ourselves. Working in this way
will greatly develop our understanding of asana and enhance the
experience of breathing and deep relaxation. The natural
progression from this point is meditation.
Each
workshop will include a long asana, pranayama and relaxation
session, followed by a meditation. By request this time around
well explore the use of subtle energy and the chakras in
Nov and Dec. Themes for the New Year will come from student
suggestions. There will be opportunity for questions, sharing and
reflection (and tea will be provided). Suitable for students who
are committed to serious and regular practice.
Concepts
explored are applicable to any yoga practice or tradition
These
are usually a Saturday morning new dates will be announced
soon.
